The Sutherlins

Our Pets

The furry family members who chose us — and we them.

Every pet that's shared our home has left a mark on our hearts.

Since moving to Oregon, we've been lucky to share our lives with some wonderful animals — two rescued cats, a lovable dachshund, and an orange boy who decided we were his family.

The cats
Francine the tuxedo cat

Francine

Tuxedo cat · Adopted 2005

A classic tuxedo cat — black and white and full of personality. Francine came to us when Randal adopted her from a tenant while working as a property manager. She and Sebastian were a package deal from the very start.

Sebastian the fluffy Siamese cat

Sebastian

Fluffy Siamese · Adopted 2005

Fluffy, striking, and Siamese in all but paperwork. Sebastian came along with Francine from the same tenant family in 2005 — two cats, one home, one very lucky family.

The dog
P.J. the dachshund

P.J.

Dachshund · Adopted a couple years later

A good boy in the truest sense. P.J. joined the family when Randal's assistant's family found him a new home — and what a home it turned out to be. Every household needs a dachshund.

Ginger the orange and white cat

Ginger

Orange & white cat · Adopted us in Cornelius

Ginger didn't wait to be chosen — he simply decided we were his family after we moved to Cornelius, Oregon, and that was that. An orange and white boy with excellent taste in households.
